Landing Pack · Phone, payments and SIM

Alipay, WeChat Pay and a working SIM, from day one in Shenzhen.

In Shenzhen almost everything runs through your phone: paying, ordering a car, booking a table, even getting into a building. If your apps don’t work, nothing does. We get you set up properly, ideally before you fly, and stay on hand when something stops working.

  • Set up with you, step by step
  • We never ask for your passwords
  • Help when something breaks

Sound familiar?

Small problems that stop everything.

At the till

The payment just won’t go through.

A card that won’t verify, an account flagged for review, a QR code that fails. We know the usual causes and walk you through the fix on the spot, or come to you.

Your usual apps go quiet

Email and maps stop loading.

Hotel Wi-Fi and mobile data behave differently here. We help you choose an eSIM or local SIM and set things up so you can keep working.

Everything wants a local number

Sign-up asks for a +86 number.

Some apps, deliveries and bookings work better with a Chinese number. We help you get a SIM, come with you to register it and set up the apps that need it.

What we take care of

Set up once, properly.

We sit down with you, on a video call before you fly or in person when you land, and go through it on your own phone.

  • Alipay and WeChat Pay linked to your foreign card.
  • A test payment together so you know it works before you need it.
  • eSIM or local SIM and help registering a local number.
  • VPN guidance for the work tools you rely on.
  • Everyday apps for rides, food delivery, maps and translation.
  • A quick fix if something stops working mid-trip.

How it works

Message us. We sort it. You get proof.

The same four steps every time, whether it’s one errand or a month of setup.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

A few lines are enough. After the first reply we talk on WeChat, Telegram, WhatsApp or email.

  2. 02

    Agree the plan

Scope, our fee, any outside costs and what “done” looks like, before anything starts.

  3. 03

    We handle it locally

Your operator coordinates the people involved and checks with you before any decision or spend.

  4. 04

    Proof it’s done

A photo, receipt or short note when it’s closed, with anything still open clearly flagged.

You’re not on your own

One named contact. A local team behind her.

Monica Ding leads operations. You explain the situation once, in plain words, and she takes it from there.

The team knows the city, speaks the language and follows things through, so you don’t have to chase anyone. Before anything happens you know the plan and the cost, and when it’s done you get proof.

  • Scope, fees and outside costs agreed before work starts
  • Nothing bought or signed without your approval
  • No commissions or referral fees from anyone we recommend
  • A named owner and a completion record for every task

Questions

Good to know.

Can foreigners use Alipay and WeChat Pay?

Yes. Both accept many foreign Visa and Mastercard cards for visitors. Some cards and accounts still need extra verification, and that’s where we help.

Can you set up my payments before I arrive?

We can walk you through it on a video call before you fly, which is usually the smoothest way. Anything left over, we finish together when you land.

Do you need my passwords or card details?

No. You stay in control of your accounts. We guide you while you enter everything on your own phone.

Is an eSIM or a local SIM better?

For a short trip, a travel eSIM is often enough for data. For longer stays, or apps that need a Chinese number, a local SIM helps. We recommend what fits your plans.

Let’s take something off your list

What do you need done?

A few lines are enough to start. Tell us what you’re working around and when, and we’ll come back with a plan.
