Landing Pack · Arriving in Shenzhen

Arriving in Shenzhen, without the guesswork.

The first day sets the tone for the whole trip. We meet you at the airport or the Hong Kong border, get your phone and payments working, and drop you at a hotel near the people you came to see. You arrive tired. We arrive with a plan.

  • Met when you arrive
  • Phone and payments working
  • A hotel near your meetings

Sound familiar?

The first few hours are the hardest.

Landing late in Hong Kong

Which crossing, at this hour?

Flights land at all hours and the border crossings keep different schedules. We pick the one that suits your arrival and have someone meet you on the Shenzhen side.

Day one, no working apps

Your card works. The QR codes don’t.

Taxis, food and the metro all run through Alipay and WeChat Pay. We help you set them up before you fly and fix whatever still doesn’t work when you land.

Meetings across the city

Nanshan or Futian? Bao’an or Huaqiangbei?

Shenzhen is big and traffic is real. We book a hotel near where you’ll actually spend your days, so you’re not losing hours in a car.

What we take care of

Everything between the arrivals hall and your first meeting.

Tell us your flight, your meetings and how you like to travel. We turn it into a plan and take care of the moving parts.

  • Pre-arrival checklist so you know what to install, bring and set up at home.
  • Airport or Hong Kong border pickup with a driver or one of the team waiting for you.
  • Phone and data from eSIM or local SIM options to VPN guidance for work tools.
  • Alipay and WeChat Pay set up and tested with you.
  • A hotel in the right district chosen around your meetings, not a map pin.
  • A driver or interpreter for your first day of meetings.
  • Message support for the whole trip.

Landing Pack

Everything on this page fits into one Landing Pack, quoted for your trip. Outside costs like hotels and transport are passed through at cost.

Plan your landing

Only need a pickup? A one-off task is fine too.

How it works

Message us. We sort it. You get proof.

The same four steps every time, whether it’s one errand or a month of setup.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

A few lines are enough. After the first reply we talk on WeChat, Telegram, WhatsApp or email.

  2. 02

    Agree the plan

Scope, our fee, any outside costs and what “done” looks like, before anything starts.

  3. 03

    We handle it locally

Your operator coordinates the people involved and checks with you before any decision or spend.

  4. 04

    Proof it’s done

A photo, receipt or short note when it’s closed, with anything still open clearly flagged.

You’re not on your own

One named contact. A local team behind her.

Monica Ding leads operations. You explain the situation once, in plain words, and she takes it from there.

The team knows the city, speaks the language and follows things through, so you don’t have to chase anyone. Before anything happens you know the plan and the cost, and when it’s done you get proof.

  • Scope, fees and outside costs agreed before work starts
  • Nothing bought or signed without your approval
  • No commissions or referral fees from anyone we recommend
  • A named owner and a completion record for every task

Questions

Good to know.

Can you pick me up at Hong Kong airport?

Yes. We arrange a driver or meet you at the border crossing that suits your arrival time, and you continue to your hotel in Shenzhen together. We confirm timings and costs before booking.

Do I need a Chinese SIM card?

Not always. Many visitors use a travel eSIM for data. A local number helps with some apps and bookings, so we suggest what fits your stay and help you get it working.

Which district should I stay in?

It depends on your meetings. Nanshan suits tech companies and offices, Futian is the central business district, Bao’an is close to the airport and many factories, and the area around Huaqiangbei is best for the electronics markets. Send us your schedule and we’ll suggest a base.

How far ahead should I get in touch?

A week or two before you fly is comfortable, but get in touch even if you land tomorrow. We’ll tell you honestly what we can arrange in time.

Let’s take something off your list

What do you need done?

A few lines are enough to start. Tell us what you’re working around and when, and we’ll come back with a plan.
